Muhammad Saafan, Minister of Manpower, revealed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has lifted the suspension of travel for 3 categories outside Saudi Arabia from May 17th.

According to today’s statement, this came in a report that the minister received from the Labor Representation Office at the Egyptian General Consulate in Riyadh, as part of its 24-hour follow-up on the conditions of Egyptian workers in the countries of work.

The Labor Attache, Ahmed Rajai, Head of the Labor Representation Office in Riyadh, indicated that the Kingdom decided to lift the suspension of citizens’ travel outside the Kingdom, as of May 17, and defined 3 categories that are permitted to travel, and they are:

Vaccines who received full doses of the (Covid-19) vaccine.

– The groups that received one dose, provided that 14 days have passed since they were vaccinated with the first dose, according to what appears in the “Tawakolna” application.

– Those recovering from Corona, provided that they present before travel an insurance policy approved by the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia that covers the risks of (Covid-19) outside the Kingdom, and they are subjected to home quarantine after returning to the Kingdom for a period of 7 days, and the examination by PCR technology at the end of the quarantine period, except for people who Under the age of 8 years.

And the Kingdom has been obligated to take precautionary measures and preventive measures, and not to be complacent in applying health requirements such as social distancing and wearing masks, and continuous cleansing of hands, taking into account travelers to the procedures and restrictions imposed by other countries and the need to take caution when traveling to high-risk countries where the disease is spreading in a high manner.
