The Spanish newspaper “Marca” confirmed that the Spanish captain of Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos, had set a single condition for continuing with the royal club.
Ramos’ contract is scheduled to expire at the end of the current season (June 2021), and the Spanish defender has not reached an agreement with his club to renew the contract.
Marca said that the time remaining in the contract between Real Madrid and Ramos is not long, adding that so far the matter has not moved in any way.
The Spanish newspaper stated that Ramos had agreed to renew his contract with Real Madrid with a reduction in his salary, but he wanted to sign for two seasons instead of one.
Marca stressed that Ramos believes that his career with the royal team deserves to obtain such a contract, noting that the reduction of salary and the financial crisis are far from the accounts of the Spanish captain.
It is worth noting that Ramos moved to Real Madrid at the beginning of the 2005/06 season from Seville, and played 670 matches for the royal team in various tournaments (he scored 101 goals and made 40 assists).
