Player Mohamed Salah said Liverpool FC has not yet discussed the possibility of renewing his contract with him.
The current contract signed with the Egyptian striker is set to expire at Anfield in 2023.
Some have linked the 28-year-old to Real Madrid and Barcelona, having previously expressed his admiration for the two Spanish giants, but he insists that his future has not yet been discussed.
“Nobody talks to me about anything, so I can’t say much about it,” Salah said with a laugh when asked in an interview with Sky Sports.
And he repeated, “Nobody in the club talks to me about anything, so I don’t know.”
Salah has scored 120 goals in 193 matches for the Reds, since his move from Roma in 2017.
The former Chelsea player won the Champions League and Premier League with Liverpool FC.
He says his ambitions are very focused on winning these awards again.
Salah said: “I said before that I want to win the Premier League again, I want to win the Champions League again. It is great that you win, I just try to win it again and again, because part of our mission is that we need to win titles.”
