The Italian club Roma announced that they had reached an agreement with Jose Mourinho, the Portuguese coach, to lead the team.
On Tuesday morning, the Italian club announced the departure of its Portuguese coach, Paulo Fonseca, at the end of the current season.
Roma posted on Twitter: “We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with coach Jose Mourinho to be the new coach of the team before the 2021-2022 season.”
With Mourinhos leadership of Roma, he will score a return to the Italian league after he led Inter from 2008 to 2010.
Inter club won the Italian league title after Juventus dominated for 9 years, while Roma occupies seventh place after 34 rounds.
