A source in the Moroccan club Raja said that Al-Ahly did not negotiate with the club’s management regarding obtaining the services of international Sufian Rahimi.
And press reports had indicated a move by Al-Ahly club to obtain the player’s services during the next transfer period.
A source in the Moroccan club said, through Laila Kouras statements, that his Egyptian counterpart (Al-Ahly) had not opened any line of negotiations officially or even in a friendly manner regarding the contract with the 24-year-old.
Rahimi drew attention with Raja before leading the Moroccan national team to win the African Nations Cup for locals, in which he was crowned top scorer.
Rahimi played 23 games with Raja this season, where he managed to score 9 goals while making 7 others.
It should be noted that Sufyan Rahimi was of interest on the part of the UAE club Al Ain, which expressed a desire to include the player during the past transfers, but the deal did not succeed at that time.
