Reports: Moroccan couple on Al-Ahly’s radar in the summer transfers

Press reports revealed that Al-Ahly club is placing on its list of priorities in the summer contracts to consolidate its offensive line, in preparation for the new season’s competitions, as part of Al-Ahmar’s plan to recruit a player who has scoring capabilities that Al-Ahly has recently lacked.

The African Champions League quarter-final draw resulted in Al-Ahly in a strong confrontation against Sun Downs during the draw that was held inside the CAF headquarters in Cairo.

“Le360” Moroccan Sport website said that Al-Ahly club renewed its request to obtain the services of Sufian Rahimi, the Raja player, during the upcoming summer transfer period. The site indicated that Al-Ahly officials also contacted the agent of Ben Yoaari, the striker of Al-Raja, to contract with him at the beginning of the new season, and Al-Ahly officials are preparing to make an official offer to Raja to sign with the top scorer of the African Nations competition for the locals.

The site stressed that Musimani, the technical director of the Al-Ahly club, gave the green light to his team’s officials regarding opening the door to negotiations with Raja to include Yusef Rahimi in the ranks of the team to associate with his colleague Badr Bannon, Al-Ahly’s defender.
