According to the “RT” website, he explained that the center is costing the Moscow government, which financed and established it, 25 billion rubles, or about $ 330 million.
He said that the center would occupy an area of 250,000 square meters and would include the headquarters of the “Ross Cosmos” Foundation and the departments of its most important branches and design offices specializing in space and aviation.
The production facilities of the most important Russian aerospace and aircraft industries are also distributed, as well as a skyscraper with a height of 248 meters.
It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin briefed and supported the space center project in 2019, and the Moscow government has allocated funds necessary to complete the project, knowing that the number of workers at the center will reach 20 thousand people.
It is worth noting that the Russian Space Agency “Roskosmos” is also planning to establish its own space station far from the International Station, and has already started the first unit of a new station, which is expected to enter orbit in early 2025.
