Stop the video referee in the Al-Ahly and Al-Mahalla match for a month

The FIFA Referees Committee decided to suspend Sayed Shaaban, the video referee, in the Al-Ahly and Al-Mahalla meeting yesterday in the league, for a month, after his mistakes in yesterday’s match.

The officials of the Referees Committee stated that Sayed Shaaban will be excluded from managing the Premier League matches during the next stage, especially since he should have summoned Maarouf in more than one ball, including the game of Muhammad Hani in the first half, and Walid Suleiman hit the Mahalla player without a ball.

Ghazl El Mahalla had defeated Al-Ahly with a clean goal scored by Ashraf Sayed in the first half in a match in which the peasant leader appeared at a good level and succeeded in collecting the three points.

On the other hand, officials of the tripartite committee of the Football Association insisted on appointing an Egyptian referee team for the summit match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, scheduled for May 10 in the 21st round of the Premier League. Jabalia officials refused the request of either club to appoint foreign referees due to the lack of time and the difficulty of addressing European countries to bring in referees in light of the Corona virus procedures and the isolation followed in some countries, in addition to the fact that there is a prior decision by the Football Association to appoint Egyptian referees for the summit matches and refuse to bring in foreigners.
