A source in the Football Association explained how to get out of the crisis of determining the date of sending the participating clubs to Africa by the African Union on June 30, three months before the end of the League competition.

The source added that the terms of the competition include a clause to deal with this crisis, which is the clause that bears No. 21 of the league conditions, and states the following:

In the event that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) determines the date of sending the club names before the end of the Egyptian Premier League championship, with the qualifying seats not being deducted for the African club championships, the ranking table shall be approved as it is on the date specified by the African Union to send the club names in the African championships, and in the absence of equal teams In the number of matches played by each team in the Egyptian League competition, the principle of sporting merit is referred to and the final ranking is approved by the following equation: The number of points won by each team divided by the number of matches each team has, and in the event that the teams are equal in points after applying the equation of sports merit, The fourth item of these conditions shall be adjudicated, and in the event that direct confrontations between the clubs competing for the golden square and the relegation centers are not completed, the following criterion shall be applied according to what was mentioned in the fourth clause of those conditions, and in that case the same equation shall be applied to all statistics Teams, whereby the difference in goals and goals scored is divided on the number of matches played by each team before the provisions of Paragraph 4 of these conditions were applied.
