The Grievances Committee of the Football Association, headed by Counselor Adel El Shorbagy, will hold a meeting today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Football Association, to discuss the grievances submitted by the Zamalek Club against the penalties of its players born in 99, headed by Imam Ashour, Ahmed Eid and others.
The committee will also consider the grievance submitted by the Al-Ahly club against the decisions and demand that it be enlarged, which will be resolved during today’s meeting before the sanctions are announced, whether by endorsing or reducing them, but the committee has no right to intensify them.
The committee will also consider the grievance submitted by Rabih Yassin, the former coach of the youth team, against the decision to prevent him from practicing any sporting activity for a period of 6 months.
For his part, Adel El Shorbagy, head of the grievances committee of the Football Association, confirmed the issuance of a decision on the appeal made by Zamalek club to suspend Imam Ashour for 12 matches during the coming hours. Al-Shorbagy said that the committee did not delay in issuing the decision, but after the 10-day period for submitting the grievance has expired, the committee is looking into the matter to decide before the decision is issued, indicating that the committee will not look at colors, but will issue the correct decision in favor of Egyptian football.
Ashour was suspended for 12 games, due to the events of the youth summit match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the last round of the Youth League.
And Imam Ashour’s punishment came into effect, despite Zamalek announcing its rejection, but he missed the Al-Ahly and Production matches to be suspended, and Zamalek submitted a grievance to stop the implementation of the penalty, but the Appeal Committee refused to stop the execution until the grievance is resolved.
