Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, announced that 30 tons of medical devices and supplies have been sent to India to support it in dealing with the Coronavirus epidemic, in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Information and Awareness and the official spokesperson for the ministry, explained that this shipment has been prepared, with 300 oxygen cylinders, 20 ventilators, 100 medical beds, 20 cardiographs, 30 electric shock devices, 50 solutions pumps, And 50 syringes solutions.
Mujahid indicated that this shipment will be sent in cooperation with the Egyptian Armed Forces to support the state of India during the confrontation with the Corona virus pandemic after the spread of the epidemic and the increase in the number of injuries and deaths.
Mujahid stressed Egypt’s keenness to help the countries of the world in times of crisis within the framework of its pioneering role, as Egypt sent medical and preventive aid to China and Italy at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, in addition to sending aid to a number of Arab and African countries.
