Arsenal came out with a precious victory from host Newcastle United (2-0), in the match that took place between them on Sunday, as part of the 34th round of the English Premier League.

Then Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the second safety goal for the guests, by the 66th minute of the match, which was held at St. James’s Park in Newcastle.
Arsenal raised their tally after this victory to 49 points, to ninth place in the league standings, one point surpassing Aston Villa, who played a lesser game.
On the other hand, Newcastle United stuck 36 points and ranks seventeenth on the Premier League table.
