Sudan’s Foreign Minister, Dina Sadiq Al-Mahdi, confirmed, on Wednesday evening, that Ethiopia is working to buy time by its intransigence in the Renaissance Dam negotiations, according to Al-Arabiya.
The Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that Khartoum made all concessions in order to reach a satisfactory agreement for all in the Renaissance Dam negotiations, which lasted for years.
And the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Dina Mufti, said that the threats issued by the downstream countries, referring to Egypt and Sudan (without naming them), are “useless”, in response to a question about the escalation of the crisis that has stalled for 10 years, without much progress.
