A recent report revealed that WhatsApp is currently testing an audio message review tool to preview it before sending it, in order to help users. According to a report issued by WABetaInfo, the feature will allow users to listen to audio messages before sending them.
According to the screenshot mentioned in the WABetaInfo report, the application will add a “review” button next to the send icon that appears once an audio message is recorded on the application.
But the option to review voice messages is currently under development and is not available even for users of the beta version of the app, as WABetaInfo claims, however, it is expected to be released to both iOS and Android users in a future update.
Last week, it was also reported that the WhatsApp application started providing support for different operating speeds for voice messages to users of the trial version of Android of the application, and the feature was first spotted in March in the beta version of Android 184.108.40.206 of the application, and now, with WhatsApp beta for Android 220.127.116.11 launched, feature is now available.
With this feature, along with the ability to play audio messages at the standard 1X speed, WhatsApp users will be able to play audio files at 1.5X or 2X speed, noting that the feature is currently available to Android beta users in WhatsApp, however, it is expected to be rolled out. For non-experimental users as well as for iOS users soon too.
