The Utilities Police Department of the Giza Security Directorate launched a surprise crackdown on a number of cafes in the Agouza district.
The campaign aimed to implement the decisions of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, to affirm the commitment to preventive and precautionary measures to confront the emerging corona virus, “Covid 19”.
The campaign, under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Hani Al-Husseini, Head of the Utilities Investigation Department, resulted in the closure and waxing of the “Location” cafe on the Arab League Street owned by the singer “MQ”, and another called “Ali Al-Dahkaya”, which is owned in partnership by the artist “H.C.”
Minutes of violations were issued, the most prominent of which was the provision of a “hookah” to the cafe patrons, in violation of preventive and precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
This comes in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to address all acts that violate the law, including cafes that violate the precautionary measures.
