Zamalek will host the Pyramids in the match that brings together the two teams this evening, Sunday, in the 19th round of the Egyptian We League at Cairo International Stadium.
Zamalek is looking for a return to victories again after the draw in the last match against the Arab Contractors, while the guests in the match hope to continue their victories after winning the last match against Al Ittihad of Alexandria.
The history of Zamalek matches against Pyramids was known for white dominance in favor of the summer of the last version, as the new-born giant was only able to beat Zamalek in one match, which was in April 2019.
Zamalek was able to beat Pyramids, under the old and new name, in 7 matches, and the tie came in two matches, the last of which was in the first round of the current season.
Zamalek currently has 40 points from 18 games in the league, and on the other side Pyramids has 30 points and ranks third with the same number of matches.
The list saw the return of goalkeeper Mohamed Awad to be with the team again, along with the appearance of Mahmoud Hamdi, “Al-Wensh”, the team’s defender.
Saif al-Din al-Jaziri returned to be in the offensive formation of Zamalek again, while Abdullah Jumaa, the left-back, will be absent after having a break from training the last team today, Saturday.
The Pyramids list witnessed the emergence of the duo Abdullah Al-Saeed and Ramadan Sobhi, on the other hand there were also three strikers, starting with the Uruguayan international Diego Roland, Ghanaian John Antwi and Dudu Al-Gabas.
