Ibrahim Abdullah, a member of the Executive Committee in Zamalek, confirmed that his club management will demand the appointment of a foreign referee team to manage the next summit meeting in front of Al-Ahly.
Abdullah indicated, in statements on Ontime Sports, that the Zamalek administration does not recognize what he described as “Arab bases” with Egyptian Football Association officials.
Abdullah said, “We will demand foreign referees for the next summit match.”
He concluded: “We will not ask for a session with the Football Association because we do not recognize these Arab bases. We are working in accordance with the regulations.”
It is worth noting that Zamalek will meet Al-Ahly next Monday at an Egyptian arbitration department, according to what Ahmed Mujahid, head of the Football Association Management Committee, confirmed in previous statements.
