A source in Al-Ahly club confirmed that there is a good development, regarding the injury of Mohamed Magdy Afsha, the team’s playmaker, and the possibility of joining the Tunisian Esperance match, scheduled for June 19, in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-final.
The source, who declined to be named, said in exclusive statements to Lilacora, that the scans that Afsha underwent recently showed a good improvement in his condition after the tumor had disappeared.
He explained, that there is a good development and with his commitment to his treatment and rehabilitation program, which will begin to be implemented within the next few hours, noting that the player will be available to enter the team’s team training next Saturday, two days after the red team’s return to group training.
He indicated that Afshas presence in Al-Ahly’s list that will leave for Tunisia exceeds 90%, stressing that he will be under the command of the team’s technical staff if he wants to participate in the match against Esperance.
Today, Friday, Afsha is scheduled to resume the implementation of the physiotherapy program specified for him by the medical system, to get rid of the pain in the inner ligament of the ankle.
