A source in Al-Ahly Club confirmed that Mohamed Mahmoud, the team’s player, will return to participate in the group training starting next week, noting that the medical staff gave the green light for Karim Nedved to participate in the matches.
And the source said, in exclusive statements by Laila Koura: “The medical staff of Al-Ahly gave coach Pitso Mosimane the green light for the possibility of Karim Nedved’s participation in the matches during the coming period.”
He added, “Nedved participated in ball training during the last period and is medically ready to return to matches, and it is up to Musimani and his assistants.”
He continued, “Mohamed Mahmoud began participating in light ball training during the past few days, and he will return to participate in Al-Ahly’s group training from next Saturday.”
He explained that Mohamed Mahmoud does not suffer from any complications after training, despite his absence for a period due to his long injury, which reached two years.
The source, who declined to be named, stressed that Mahmoud Metwally, the team’s defender, is at the disposal of the technical staff to participate in the matches and is fully fit after recovering from injury and participating in group training.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Pyramids, scheduled for Thursday, in the Egyptian WE League competition.
