The vessels and boats of the oil companies in Ras Ghareb in the Red Sea continued their search for Adel Nassar, the second engineer missing from the oil service ship that sank in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The Ras Ghareb area witnessed the sinking of a petroleum service ship after it sailed into the water and during the return trip to the shore, it sank. Initial investigations revealed that the ship collided with the wreck of a sinking boat, which resulted in the death of its captain and the rescue of 11 others and the search for two missing persons from the ship’s crew.

The authorities concerned in the Red Sea had received a notification of the sinking of a petroleum services vessel called ‘Nspecta7’, operating in the Ras Gharib area, due to its collision with a vessel.

The local unit in Ras Ghareb began raising the level of emergency, and a number of ambulances were dispatched to the site of the accident, and the search for the missing person continued.
