The sources said that the decision regarding Ramadan’s money is not a reservation, as the artist said in a video clip he posted on his accounts, but rather a reservation related to a judicial ruling in the case of pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr.
On April 7, the Economic Court of Appeal ruled obligating the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, to pay 6 million pounds in compensation to pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr for the damages he sustained as a result of the “plane image crisis.”
In previous statements, lawyer Magdy Helmy, the defense of pilot Ashraf Abu al-Yusr, told Masrawy that the verdict is final and may not be appealed to the Economic Court, but he has the right to appeal before the Court of Cassation.
“Helmy” argued in his lawsuit that the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, took advantage of his client’s image to promote himself by publishing a video clip for a new song for him, which he called “Do not search at the airport”, taking advantage of the image of Captain Pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr in a demonstration scene in the leadership of the plane, which led to severe damage. his financial and literary.
The artist, Mohamed Ramadan, had published a picture of him on a plane led by Captain Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, in which he said that it was an experiment to pilot the plane.
The Civil Aviation Authority imposed a penalty on pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr by withdrawing his license for life for violating safety standards while flying, in addition to withdrawing his assistant’s license for a year.
