Russian nutritionist, Maria Shubina, revealed types of nuts that are dangerous to the health of the body, most notably peanuts, almonds and macadamia nuts.
Peanuts, primarily because they contain aflatoxin. It is a dangerous substance capable of secreting a carcinogen, and it can also cause a delay in human growth and can reduce the body’s defenses, making it more susceptible to infection.
Almonds are one of the most common allergens among nuts and macadamia nuts because they are the fattest and most nutritious of all the types of this product.
The expert also described the most useful nuts, in her opinion, which are walnuts, cashews and hazelnuts. Walnuts contain omega-3s, cashews have the lowest calorie content and highest protein content, and hazelnuts contain a record number of magnesium.
The expert advised not to exceed the permissible daily intake of nuts, which is 20-40 grams.
