Burj Al Arab is ready to host the Super Basketball semi-final


The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Basketball Federation is following up on the latest preparations for the Burj Al Arab Hall in Alexandria, which is scheduled to host the semi-finals of the Men’s Super League next week.

Al-Ahly team, its rival Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, will meet in the semi-finals of the Super Basketball League, and Zamalek will play against Al-Jazira.

Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly confrontations will be held on June 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14, while Zamalek plays against Al-Jazira on the 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th of the same month.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Amr Moselhi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Basketball Association, attended the Burj Al Arab Hall in order to follow up on the hall’s latest preparations, from changing the floor to some other matters that are supervised by the Alexandria Basketball District.

Amr Moselhi, Director of the National Teams Administration, toured with Essam Mujahid, Abdel Wahab Al-Ajmi, Ahmed Shekiwi and Sameh Salah, the supervisors of preparing the hall to host the matches, and praised the latest equipment that he received, which he transferred to the Board of Directors headed by Dr.

The Burj Al Arab Hall in Alexandria witnessed an experiment with the boards, the floor and the latest equipment, through the establishment of a friendly division between the players of the first basketball team led by Ihab Al-Alfi.

The team, led by Ihab Al-Alfi and assisted by Amr Assem, general coach, Mohamed Shawky, assistant coach, Ahmed Abdel-Muttalib and Alia Mahmoud, “Coach of Living” – Alaa Khaled, team administrator – Asmaa Al-Aqbawi, physiotherapist – Farid Samir Fitness – Abdel Rahman Galad, performance analyst Arabs in preparation for the African qualifiers.

The qualifiers for the Afro Basketball Championship “women” will be held in Cairo next July, in preparation for holding the tournament in Cameroon next September.
