During the past days, the people of Hurghada were surprised by the closure of the public beach in the Leaders area, which is the oldest beach in the city, and the construction of a two-meter-high red brick wall to block the view of the sea from the people, so that the oldest public beach in Hurghada was closed without visitors. In Hurghada Corniche in Dahar, a number of workers built a two-meter-high wall that obscures the view of the sea, which aroused the resentment and anger of the people.

A number of people confirmed that this beach is one of the oldest beaches in Hurghada and is located in the center of the city, to join the public beach No. 4, which is closed under the pretext of development, although no work has been started to develop it, and that this wall has become obscuring the view of the sea from citizens, appealing to the competent authorities to intervene to reopen The beach is in front of the people and visitors, and the fence that obscured the view of the sea was removed.

The people added that the public beach in the Leaders area after its closure has become neglected, as the beach extends about 300 meters long, as the Leaders Beach area in Hurghada is one of the best areas from which you can see the Red Sea with its clear blue water, but it no longer receives citizens of the governorate or visitors to it. Major General Amr Hanafy, Governor of the Red Sea, by completing the facilities of this beach, refining and developing it, providing it with services and reopening it for use, which is one of the most beautiful and largest public beaches and is the only beach that Hurghada residents and visitors can enter.

The city of Hurghada has closed public beach No. 4 since last summer, under the pretext of starting its development work. The development has not started yet, and the beach is still closed.
