Aliou Diang, Al-Ahly’s player, participated in the 1-1 draw of his country’s Mali national team against its counterpart, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in whose ranks Al-Ahly striker Walter Bwalya plays, with a score of 1-1.
Diang played with the Mali national team since the beginning of the match and cut many balls and contributed to building some attacks, before Diang came out and was replaced by Moussa Kiabou in the 64th minute.
Before Diang’s exit, Mali was ahead with a goal unanswered, scored by Khalifa Coulibaly in the 4th minute of the match.
In the 89th minute, Ben Malango equalized for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The coach of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Hector Cuper, decided to leave Al-Ahly striker Walter Bwalya between the two halves of the match.
It is noteworthy that the Mali national team was defeated by its Algerian counterpart a few days ago in a friendly match, with the result of a goal without a response, scored by Riyad Mahrez, player of Manchester City.
