Some drinks can help facilitate the task of falling asleep at night, so it is recommended to take them before bed.

1- Warm milk: Milk contains tryptophan, an amino acid that helps increase the proportion of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps to feel happy and psychologically calm.

Eating warm milk before bed may help to feel relaxed and psychologically calm.

But more studies are needed to confirm the effectiveness of milk in helping to sleep.

Milk should be avoided if you have a milk allergy or lactose intolerance.

2- Cherry juice: Cherries are considered one of the fruits that are beneficial to health, and can help improve sleep quality, because they contain tryptophan, an amino acid that promotes the production of the hormone melatonin that contributes to regulating sleep and wakefulness.

It is best to eat tart cherry juice, as it contains up to 6 times more melatonin than sweet cherries, in addition to the many health benefits of cherries.

3- Chamomile tea: Chamomile tea has many health benefits, and it can help relieve symptoms of colds, treat infections, and promote healthy skin.

Chamomile may help improve sleep quality and treat insomnia and anxiety, but more studies are needed to obtain sufficient evidence, and until it is confirmed, chamomile tea can be taken before bed because it is considered a safe drink.

Chamomile tea is made by adding 4 tablespoons of fresh chamomile flowers, or 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flower to a cup of boiling water, steeping for 5 minutes, filtering and drinking.

4- Coconut water: Magnesium deficiency can lead to depression and anxiety, thus affecting sleep pattern and making it difficult to sleep at night.

To avoid this problem, the magnesium levels that the body needs must be obtained daily to improve the quality of sleep, so you can take coconut water rich in magnesium, and it also contains potassium, which are important elements for a sense of calm and comfort.

It is easy to make mint tea, by boiling water and adding mint to it, leaving it in hot water for at least 5 minutes and then drinking it.
