Al-Ahly explained in an official statement that Abdel Hafeez’s decision came to impose more focus and a good preparation for the Tunisian Esperance matches, after the players made several statements immediately after winning the African Super title.

Al-Ahly resumed its training yesterday, Tuesday, after the end of the 48-hour rest period, after returning from Qatar and winning the African Super Cup, after winning the Moroccan Berkane Renaissance with two goals without a response.

On June 19, Al-Ahly will face the Tunisian Esperance team in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, at Hammad Al-Aqrabi Stadium in Rades.

Al-Ahly had continued its training, in preparation for the first and second leg matches in the African Champions League semi-final against Tunisias Esperance, and the team is expected to play a friendly match tomorrow, Thursday, against Al Sharq Insurance.
