The stadium will host Germany’s Group Six matches in the group stage against France, Hungary and Portugal, as well as a match in the quarter-finals.
14,000 spectators will be allowed to attend, which is equivalent to 20% of the stadium’s capacity.
“It will allow 14,000 spectators, or 20% of its capacity, to attend, while following strict sanitary protocol,” Bavaria Governor Markus Soeder said in comments carried by the French agency.
And the mayor of Munich had said last April that the presence of the fans in the stadium was “not guaranteed” until now, before the attendance of the fans was officially confirmed.
The euro will be played in 11 countries from June 11 to July 11.
