Zamalek players celebrate Ashraf Bencharki’s goal in Ismaily
Mohamed Abdel Shafi, the left back of Zamalek, participated in the training of the collective white team, which was held today, Tuesday, after his recovery from the injury he suffered in the calf muscle.
While the players of Zamalek performed qualifying exercises on the sidelines of the training session, Mahmoud Abdel Razek continued “Shikabala” and Hazem Imam rehabilitation in the gymnasium.
The technical staff of Zamalek was keen to raise the fitness rate of the players, as everyone trained to jump from the highest barriers at different heights, in addition to running speed races.
Goalkeepers coach Oliveira held a session with the quartet of guards, Mohamed Awad, Mohamed Abu Jabal, Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Jansh” and Mohamed Qandil.
While Osama Nabih, the general coach, and Ahmed Abdel Maksoud, the assistant coach, held a special session with Youssef Ibrahim, “Obama”, during which some advice and instructions were given to him to implement them in the training session.
Meanwhile, Carteron held a long session with his assistants and with Zamalek players in training.
Zamalek is preparing to meet Aswan on the 17th of June at Cairo Stadium in the 26th round of the league.
Zamalek leads the league standings with 55 points, after playing all its 25 matches.
Al-Ahly comes second with 41 points after playing only 19 matches.
