Al-Ahly’s decision comes due to the travel of some players to spend their vacation, and this comes before group training.
Al-Ahly’s technical staff had granted the players a 6-day leave of training.
The team is scheduled to conduct a second medical swab on Sunday, which is for travel to Tunisia.
Al-Ahly decided on Tuesday afternoon to travel to Tunisia in preparation for facing Esperance in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly will play in Tunisia on Saturday 19th of June, while the return match will be in Cairo on 26th of the same month.
Al-Ahly qualified for the semi-finals after defeating Sundowns 3-1 on aggregate.
