Pacheco was dismissed from the training of Zamalek last March 11, after the team’s match against Ceramica Cleopatra, and French Patrice Carteron returned to take over the task.
Farouk told On Sport Radio: “If the coach did not receive his dues according to the terms of the contract, he would file a complaint with the International Federation, and that happened last April.”
“At the time of termination of the contract, Pacheco was entitled to two months’ salary, and the amount was not paid,” he added.
And he continued, “Pachecos lawyer is demanding other dues other than the two-month salary, according to the current legal situation.”
And he added, “The previous committee contacted Pacheco as soon as the contract was terminated and they confirmed their commitment to the terms of the contracts, and the payment was not made after a week while the coach was in Cairo, and the amount was not transferred to Portugal.”
He continued, “The current committee is negotiating with Pacheco, but no agreement has been reached. The Portuguese coach does not take the matter personally. He is certainly angry at the termination of the contract at this time.”
And he continued, “Pacheco received more than one offer after his departure from Zamalek. He is studying some offers from China or the Gulf, but his desire is to work with the team since the beginning of the season, and he refused the principle of working with a team during the season.”
He concluded, “The Pyramids negotiations were not official, but rather a survey of his opinion through those around him, and he was ready to listen to the offer because working in Egypt was among his options.”
Pacheco played 26 matches with Zamalek in various competitions, winning 16, drawing 6 times and losing 4 matches.
