A Qatari team is seeking to sign Congolese Ben Malango, the Moroccan striker, during the summer transfer market.
According to the Moroccan “Le360Sport” website, a Qatari team renewed its desire to include the top scorer in the Moroccan League, after it submitted an offer last summer, which was rejected at the time.
The report indicated that the Qatari team offered “one million and 700 thousand dollars to include Malango, but the Raja officials refused to accept the offer at the present time.”
The reason: “It is premature to talk about the Congolese striker, especially that the green team needs his services and is next to play a historic final against the Saudi Federation of Jeddah in the Arab Championship.”
Raja is also preparing to face Pyramids in the semi-finals of the African Confederation this month.
Malango became the best foreign scorer in the history of Raja with 29 goals.
He is also the top scorer in the Moroccan league this season, with 11 goals, ahead of Gabonese Axel Maye, striker of Ittihad Tangiers.
