Ramadan Sobhi, captain of the Olympic team and a player for Pyramids, believes that preparations for the Olympic Games in Tokyo are going well.
Ramadan Sobhi said toFilGoal.com: “The camp of the Olympic team is going very well and all the players are in a state of high concentration and Shawky Gharib always gives us instructions to implement them because the tournament is very close.”
“We will try during the two matches in South Africa to show the good performance that fans of the Olympic team are accustomed to,” he added.
He continued, “All players are thinking about the final list for the Olympics, but thinking does not affect the focus of any player, and everyone wants to provide 100% of his level, and everyone plays in a positive spirit in order to participate in the Olympics.”
He continued, “Any circumstances may occur and a player enters the list in place of another player, so everyone must prepare well.”
He concluded his statements, “The Egyptian team’s group in the Olympics is strong, and if we fell into any other group, we would say that it is strong as well, but this is a reality and we will give our maximum in order to reach the farthest point.”
Egypt is in Group C of the Tokyo Olympics, along with Spain, Argentina and Australia.
