Najib said in statements to reporters: “The dream of my life is to join the national team, like any player. Hossam Al-Badri knows my abilities well, because I have previously been with him in the Olympic team and he predicted me a wonderful future.”
He continued, “My first goal now is to maintain my brilliance with Ismaili, to contribute with my colleagues to the continuation of victories.”
He added, “Ihab Galal succeeded first in restoring confidence to all players, and thus contributed to the team’s return to the path of victories.”
He explained, “The first round was very difficult, but there was confidence in the team’s recovery of victories, which came with the presence of the technical committee and the technical staff led by Ihab Galal.”
He concluded, “We have a goal to continue victories to achieve a good position at the end of the season to be a strong start in the next season, to return the Dervishes to their true position.”
Shukri Najib also confirmed that he is on his way to extending his contract with Al-Ismaili, and that he has informed the officials of this.
Ismaily is preparing to face Ghazl El-Mahalla on Thursday, June 17, in the 26th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Ismaily occupies 13th place in the Egyptian Premier League table with 29 points, after playing 24 games.
