FilGoal | News | The general coach of Degla: I thought that Aswan deliberately cut off the electricity to cancel the match

Mohamed Abdel Wahed, the general coach of Wadi Degla, said that he believed that the Aswan team deliberately turned off the electricity in their stadium on Friday after conceding two early goals.

Mohamed Reda scored two goals for the Tigris before the electricity was cut off at Aswan Stadium for 18 minutes, after a penalty kick was awarded for the first in the 17th minute.

The Tigris won the match 4-1 in the 27th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

“I said to myself, they cut the electricity to cancel the match,” Abdel Wahed said on MBC Egypt.

“The first time this happened, after the resumption of play, we scored a third goal from a penalty kick,” he added.

Degla rose to the 16th position in the league standings, raising its score to 22 points, and two points away from Aswan, who ranked 15th.

The Tigris will play against Misr El-Makassa on July 5th.
