Wadi Degla beat Zamalek with two goals to one at Dream Stadium in 6th of October City.
And the technical staff of Zamalek decided to be satisfied with that friendly match before meeting Aswan in the league on the 17th of June at Cairo Stadium in the 26th round of the league.
Zamalek’s main formation for the match witnessed the return of Mahmoud Alaa, the team’s defender, returning from injury.
Patrice Carteron started the match with the following formation:

Defense: Mohamed Abdel Ghani – Mahmoud Alaa – Yassin Marei – Hamza Al-Mththloui.

Wadi Degla scored the first goal in the ninth minute through Mohamed Reda with a shot from inside the penalty area.
Ahmed Atef added a second goal in the 28th minute from a shot to the right of Mohamed Awad, to end the first half with a two-goal lead of the Tigris.
Carteron started the second half with a different formation. Muhammad Abu Jabal guarded the goal, to score his first participation since he was infected with the Corona virus, while Marwan Hamdi led the attack.

Zamalek scored its only goal in the 66th minute. A corner was executed by Zizou, and Marwan Hamdi headed in the goal, scoring the first. The match ended with the victory of Wadi Degla with two goals to one.
