FilGoal | News | The Times: Arsenal are working to sign Neves

Arsenal’s management has begun negotiating with Wolverhampton to sign midfielder Ruben Neves in the summer transfer window.

According to the British newspaper, “The Times”, the Arsenal administration aims to sign Neves to strengthen the team’s midfield.

Arsenal wants to settle the deal for the Portuguese player for 34 million pounds.

Although the price of Neves was estimated at 80 million pounds in 2019, due to the Corona pandemic, Arsenal hope to settle the deal at half that number.

Arsenal is looking to support the team with several players in order to return to participate in the Champions League after a period of absence.

Arsenal have not played in the Champions League since the 2015-16 season.

Arsenal had entered negotiations with Norwich City to sign Emiliano Buendia, according to The Sun newspaper. (See details)
