Nabil Ayouch has put the final touches on his new movie, which highlights the hip-hop culture in Morocco, entitled Casablanca Beats.
The events of the film take place in the “Nujoum Sidi Moumen” cultural center in Casablanca, as it monitors the reality of many young hip-hop artists in Morocco, among the talented girls and boys during an audition. CastingAnd how difficult it is to convince the families of some of them to travel from Tangiers, Agadir and Marrakesh to Casablanca, in order to participate in the filming.
And according to what was stated in a previous communication to the musical District New, the aforementioned director was inspired by the story of his new film work, when he was invited to attend a musical, in which a group of rap artists participated.
The work witnessed the participation of a group of new and non-professional talents, as it was expected to see the light during the current year, but the conditions of the pandemic prevented this.
