Mahmoud Gad, Egypt’s Olympic team goalkeeper, said that he does not mind the presence of Mohamed El-Shennawy, goalkeeper of Al-Ahly club, with the Olympic team in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, at his expense.
Gad added, in statements to “Ontime Sports 1”, “We achieved a good and moral victory, and won the two matches against South Africa.”
And he continued, “Our Lord honors anyone who travels to the Tokyo Olympics, and we are under the command of Shawqi Gharib, the national team coach, and we are all next to each other.”
Gad concluded: “It is a great honor if Mohamed El-Shennawy is with us. He is the number 1 goalkeeper in Egypt, even if he is at my expense.”
It is worth noting that the Egyptian Olympic team defeated the South African Olympic team, 3-0, on Sunday evening, in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
