Press reports revealed that the Turkish club Galatasaray informed the Egyptian Football Association of its refusal to participate, Mustafa Mohamed, the team’s striker, with the Olympic team in the Tokyo Olympics.
According to the Turkish newspaper, “Fanatik”, Galatasaray addressed the Football Association for the Egyptian Olympic national team striker, Mustafa Mohamed, and asked him not to participate in the Olympic Games.
The newspaper added that Mustafa Muhammad will return to Istanbul next Thursday at the latest in order to participate in the preparation period for the new season with Galata Saray.
Galatasaray is linked to confrontations in the early stages of the European Champions League in the new season 2021/2022.
It is noteworthy that the Tokyo Olympics will start next July, and the Egyptian Olympic team, led by Shawky Gharib, will participate in a group that includes Argentina, Spain and Australia.
