Tamer Al-Nahhas, the agent of Amr Al-Sulayya, Al-Ahly midfielder, revealed the reason for not opening the file to renew his client’s contract, which will expire next season.

Tamer Al-Nahhas said in televised statements: “Negotiations with Amr Al-Sulayya have not opened until this moment due to the timing factor and the large number of tournaments the team is currently playing.”

He added, “We renewed the Al-Sulayya contract last season, but for a short period of time due to the lack of communication to reach an agreement for suitable numbers.”

Tamer Al-Nahhas continued: “The two parties have a desire to renew, but the decision is postponed due to the championships and the time factor.”

He continued, “I hope that Al-Ahly agrees to loan Al-Suliya, after renewing the contract. We want him to take a new experience abroad.”

Tamer Al-Nahhas moved to talk about Zamalek defender Mahmoud Alaa, saying: “The defender of Zamalek received foreign offers, whether they were from the Gulf or Turkey, specifically Galata Saray and Besiktas.”

And he concluded: “During the term of Mortada Mansour, the presidency of the Zamalek club, he refused the player’s departure to Turkey, due to his importance in the team.”
