All you have to do to connect your Apple Pencil to your iPad is to charge your Apple Pencil with your iPad.
If you have a first-generation Apple Pencil, remove the cap on the back of the Pencil and plug it into the iPad charging port.
Open your iPad, and tap the “Pair” button that appears.
If you have a second generation Apple Pencil, hold the pen to the magnetic connector on the side of your iPad.
If it asks if you want to pair it, tap Pair.
Your Apple Pencil will stay paired until you restart your iPad, turn on Airplane mode, or connect it to another iPad.
