Learn about the referees for Al-Ahly matches against Esperance in the Champions League


The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the referees for the matches Al-Ahly and Esperance in the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly will be a guest of Esperance on June 19 in the first leg of the semi-finals at the Olympic Stadium in Rades, with the return to be on June 26 in Cairo.

South Africas Victor Gomez was appointed as referee for the first leg match, while Zambias Gianni Sikazwe will be the video referee for the match.

While the return match was assigned to Cameroonian referee Alliom Nyant, who will be assisted by Cameroon’s Elvis Gaye Nobi, second assistant Karen Fomo from Cameroon and fourth referee Eric Castin from Gabon.

CAF assigned the task of the video referee in this match to Moroccan Radwan Gaid, and he will assist Lahcen Azgaou and a second video assistant from Morocco, Mustafa Akarkad.
