The chances of Al-Ahly’s right-back Mohamed Hani diminished to participate in the Tunisian Esperance match on June 26 in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final, because he did not complete his recovery from his recent injury to the front muscle.
Although there is still a long time for the return match against the Tunisian champion in the African semi-final, the information received from Al-Ahly confirms that Mohamed Hani will not join the return match against Esperance in Cairo.
Al-Ahly will play with Esperance in Tunisia on June 19 in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-final, while the return match will be held on June 26 in Cairo in the second leg of the semi-final of the African Championship, which Al-Ahly holds its title.
According to the report of Al-Ahly’s medical staff, Mohamed Hani will return to the team’s team training strongly in late June and possibly the first of next July, which means his absence from the home and return matches against the Tunisian champion.
Mohamed Hani suffers from a “severe” muscle injury in the front muscle, which he suffered in the African Super match against the Moroccan Berkane Renaissance in Qatar, which Al-Ahly recently won for the seventh time in history.
