Liverpool star Mohamed Salah won the Premier League Player of the Year award from the Professional Players Association, which was decided by the fans’ vote. Salah was nominated for the award, which is decided by the critics’ choice, but he lost it to Kevin De Bruyne, the Manchester City player. The Professional Players Association announced that Salah won the award after receiving the highest number of votes.
Salah was chosen in the Premier League team of the season from the Professional Players Association, to be the only player selected from Liverpool. Salah scored 22 goals last season with Liverpool in the English Premier League to lose the Premier League top scorer award to Harry Kane, who scored 23 goals.
