Ahmed Yahya, agent of the player, Mustafa Mohamed, the Turkish Galatasaray striker, confirmed that his current club did not contact Zamalek to activate the final purchase clause concluded in the loan contract.
Yahya indicated, in statements to Sada Al-Balad channel, that there is still time for Galatasaray to activate the final purchase clause, pointing out that he expected several offers from Mustafa Muhammad after the Olympics.
Yahya said: “There has been no official communication from Galatasaray to activate the clause of Mustafa Muhammad’s purchase from Zamalek. The Turkish team still has time and there is no need to rush.”
He concluded: “It is natural that there will be a lot of offers for Mustafa Mohamed, but there are no official offers yet. Everyone is waiting for the Olympics and the next step for him will be great.”
Mustafa Muhammad has been playing in Galatasaray on loan since last January for two million dollars, with the Turkish team entitled to buy him for four million dollars.
