Oil prices rose today, Wednesday, and the “Brent” mix rose above the level of $ 76, for the first time since October 2018.
By 17:31 Moscow time, Brent crude futures were traded at $76.02 a barrel, an increase of 1.62% over the previous closing price.
Meanwhile, US “West Texas Intermediate” crude contracts were traded at $73.73 a barrel, an increase of 1.21% over the previous settlement price.
The rise was supported by expectations of a recovery in demand for crude and data that showed a decline in crude stocks in the United States.
