And RT’s reporter quoted a security source as saying, “A gas cylinder exploded in a restaurant in a market in the Kadhimiya area of Baghdad, killing two civilians, and wounding 14 others.”

The city of Kadhimiya, where the shrines of the two Imams Musa bin Jaafar and his grandson Muhammad Al-Jawad, descended from the family of the Prophet Muhammad, are known as one of the most fortified security areas in Iraq.

The city is crowded with local and foreign visitors, and there are markets, stalls, street vendors and on the sidewalks.
