Tunisian press reports revealed that the Esperance sports team received a moral boost before the upcoming Al-Ahly match in the framework of the African Champions League.
According to the “Digital Tunisia” newspaper, today, Friday, the “Bab Souika” team received a great moral boost before the Al-Ahly match, represented by the joining of defender Mohamed Amine Togay and midfielder Fadi Benchouk.
Esperance is currently preparing for the Al-Ahly match, which comes within the semi-finals of the African Champions League, where the first match is scheduled to take place on the 19th of this month at the “Hamad Al-Aqrabi” stadium, while the second match will be held in Cairo on the 26th of the same month.
Al-Ahly was able to reach the semi-finals by defeating the South African Sundowns after winning 3-1 in the aggregate of the two matches, back and forth.
On the other hand, Esperance climbed at the expense of Algerias Chabab Belouizdad after winning on penalties, as the total of the two matches, home and away, was 2-2.
