Today, Thursday, South African press reports revealed a request from South African coach Pitso Mosimane, Al-Ahly coach, to sign his compatriot Keegan Dolly after the end of his contract with French Montpellier.
According to the South African newspaper, “thesouthafrican”, Pitso Mosimane asked to sign Dolly, especially since the Al-Ahly coach had previously led the 28-year-old when he was technical director of Sundowns.
And the newspaper added, Dolly is also wanted by his former club Sundowns, who put the player in his calculations in anticipation of the departure of Uruguayan winger Gaston Cerneo.
The South African newspaper reported that despite attempts by Al-Ahly and Sundowns, Dolly wants to stay in Europe during the coming period.
Dolly has suffered injuries in recent seasons, according to what came through the South African newspaper, as he only participated with Montpellier in 64 matches to score a goal and assist three decisive goals.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly owns in its current list of foreigners five players: Moroccan Badr Bannon – Tunisian Ali Maaloul – Nigerian Junior Ajayi – Malian Alio Diang – Congolese Walter Bwalya. Al-Ahly also owns the services of Aliu Badji, who played in the ranks of Turkey’s Ankara Gucho on loan. .
